Canapés on the Lawn
Every bride and groom wants their big day to be unique, memorable and special.
Some couples opt for a really relaxed, informal day while others prefer a traditional white wedding with a formal structure.
Whichever style of day you choose, Call in The Caterers will respect your wishes and work with you to achieve your perfect day.
Emma and are teachers. They wanted to use the school hall at Bishton Hall for a country style wedding with many vintage touches. The wedding started with a ceremony at the local church. As the wedding party arrived in a VW camper and the bride and groom in a Beatle we were ready with welcome drinks and canapés.
Guests mingled in the gardens whilst children played with the oversize garden games.
Dinner was a trio of local hot meats, carvery style, with a choice of five salads, hot minted buttered potatoes and homemade breads. This was followed by a choice of cheesecake or homemade chocolate roulade and English tea or fresh coffee.
Guests danced into the night with a ceilidh and then finished off the evening with our breakfast baps – again carvery style.
Emma made her own bunting and table runners and provided the lovely flowers from her garden. Glass balls in the trees and fairy lights at night added the perfect finishing touches
